Always look forward to
sessions like this
where my body parts
get dismantled like a robot
He unscrewed every knot
and bolt, stretching every
piece of muscle like
a rubber band and snapping
it back,
twisting every inch of my
skin, like a towel, as if it is a kind
of detox, then turning me on my
stomach, doing the final ironing
as if I was a starched white shirt
ready for life again
